1st Marine Division Band

The Wind Ensemble is regarded as one of the finest military ensembles in the United States today. At full strength, this 50 to 70 man concert band performs traditional marches, overtures, instrumental solos, classical transcriptions, and patriotic favorites. The Wind Ensemble performs regularly throughout Southern California, including annual appearances at the California Center for Arts in Escondido, but has also traveled across and outside the continental United States. Highlight performances include the annual Fleet Week Celebration in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California and the WWI Annual Remembrance Ceremony in Belleau Wood, France.
